Delicate Beet Farro

Grains can sometimes feel like a tricky thing to pair things with. My quick go-to is to mix in my favorite sauce whenever I have extra, or simply olive oil and herbs! Here’s one of my new favorite combos:

What You’ll Need:

(Serves 4)

-350g farro

-Swiss chard, chopped 

-1 bulb fennel, chopped

-1/2 white onion, diced

-My simple beet sauce


Boil water in a pot, salt it and add the farro to boil for 8-10 minutes. In the meantime, sauté the onions and fennel in a pan with quality olive oil until golden brown with your favorite herbs and spices. Mix in the greens until wilted. Drain the farro and add it to the pan with the veggies. Stir together for a few minutes and serve. Buon Appetito!
